Amazing food & excellent service, all staff were very friendly and attentive. We held our Christmas lunch here and they were so accommodating. Great veggie options too, would definitely recommend to anyone

The Blue Legume Islington is the best restaurant in my neighborhood. I go there often and enjoy both the live music during dinner and the amazing food. It's a great place to go for a date, family outing, or just to drink with your friends. I highly recommend it!

I live around the area and I always wanted to try it and finally I got in by chance yesterday evening. The food has Turkish influence despite the name being Italian. The selection is varied and there is a plate for every taste. Portions are good and food is tasty. I particularly liked the legume hummus and the aubergine with yoghurt and feta cheese. Prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is chill and staff very nice and friendly. Recommended!

Best place for brunch along Upper Street (that I’ve tried)! The menu is quite extensive so there is something for everyone. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and provided quick service. My friend and I both ordered the Mediterranean Breakfast, and it was delicious. It usually comes with sucuk (Turkish spicy sausage), but they let my friend swap this for a pork sausage, and when our food arrived, our waitress asked if we wanted any condiments or butter immediately—great service. They were also very kind and accommodating to my dog. I think the food is very well priced: portions are pretty generous and the quality is top-notch. My meal cost me about 16 (had tea). Highly recommend!

I’ll definitely be back as there is so much on the menu that I’d love to try! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are good. The decor is lovely, and the staff were knowledgeable and accommodating for all of our questions and dietary needs. My only reservation is that it seems to take them a while to come over to the table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to returning.

Generous portion sizes, very sweet staff and good food for the price. All in all, it was tasty! Smoothie was a 10/10 - though pricey. Only comment is the slightly strange choices of ingredients in a couple of our dishes - like strawberry jam with an otherwise entirely savoury Mediterranean breakfast. Also the fairly bland heaps of 'salads' with the moussaka weren't needed.

We visited on Friday evening for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers modern Mediterranean cuisine with fast service and a friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious, and the live music on Friday night created a lovely, enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous! We were a bit early in the evening as we were going to a show, but it was still lovely atmosphere with few people. But it was quickly filling up as we were leaving. The homemade lemonade was amazing, starters of mushrooms and mezze were both cooked to perfection. The goats cheese on the mushrooms was fried better than I've had it anywhere else. The mains were incredible, sea bass with perfect crispy skin, risotto with tonnes of flavour and no oilyness. I had kofte, perfectly pink in the middle, juicy and with a great fresh salad. We couldn't stay for desert as we had taken too long to eat(service was very quick and attentive, so not their fault in any way) Would absolutely go again. Wonderful
